There has been an increase in the number of people getting divorced in recent years. According to statistics one in three couples get divorced in the first years of their marriage. This situation can be attributed to several reasons, two of which are financial problems and addiction.
One reason why spouses divorce is financial difficulties. If the couple has difficulty (in) meeting their needs, they may feel depressed and unhappy. Due to these negative feelings, disagreements start at home. In time, these arguments turn into conflict, which may become difficult to resolve. In such a condition, divorce becomes unavoidable.
Another cause of divorce is addiction. Addiction of any kind is bad. However, alcohol addiction is worst. For example, an alcoholic husband may resort to violence against his wife when he is drunk. It is not easy for the wife to endure such a pain even if she loves her husband. This time, alcohol may be the reason for ending the marriage.
To conflude, no one get married to divorce. However, sometimes conditions such as financial problems and alcohol addiction may bring about divorce. Only if couples are tolerant to each other and try to solve their problems by communicationg, can they continue their marriage.
